Ardeth Bay suddenly felt like this was a bad idea. Both the O’Connell’s
and his fellow Medjai agreed that Ardeth would be the best person
to guard the tomb of Imhotep that night.
Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, but something felt bad about
tonight. It was deathly silent. No wind, no distant noises, nothing.
It was as if death was hovering over everything. Ardeth quickly
gathered himself together. It was nothing to be worried about. He
felt prepared. He has his sword and daggers, not to mention his
revolver. Should anything happen, he will be ready. Ardeth shivered
a bit in the cool air. The tomb felt damp and chilly. Fortunately,
he was wearing his layers of clothing and leather boots. 'The deserts
are amazing' he thought to himself. In the day, the air felt scorching.
At night, it felt like winter. Ardeth has been in the desert his
whole life, but yearned for a life outside of this one. Ardeth walked
around the tomb.
Nothing unusual to be spotted. Imhotep's coffin was sealed tight.
Ardeth paced around before sitting down in a corner. 'This night
is going to pass very slowly' he thought. Ardeth's Medjai friend
will be coming in the morning to relieve him of duty. Ardeth sat
in the corner, starting to feel bored with himself. He took his
dagger and started drawing designs in the sandy floor. It wasn't
long before Ardeth's eyes started to feel weary. He stretched out
his legs and started to feel sleepy. "A quick sleep won't hurt'
he thought. He shut his eyes and fell asleep.
Ardeth started dreaming about walking in a frozen land filled with
ice and snow. He tried to wake himself, but sleep was too powerful.
Suddenly, Ardeth felt water dripping on his face. He woke up, wondering
what that was about. Ardeth instantly started to panic. He was tied
down to a priest's altar. He struggled, but there were straps holding
his body down. He knew better than to yell considering whoever did
this was not his friend. He looked at his surroundings, it was dark,
but there were candles scattered throughout the room. He looked
at himself.
There was a strap going across his chest, another around his wrists,
another around his waist, and another across his knees. "At
last, we meet" said a deep voice with a heavy accent. Ardeth
looked and saw Imhotep standing nearby. "Creature, what have
you done!" yelled Ardeth. Imhotep responded "you let your
guard down and took advantage of my greatest enemy". "You
won't get away with this. My fellow Medjai will be coming at dawn
to find me" spat back Ardeth. "And I have a surprise for
them. But don't worry about that. I have something special planned
for you". Ardeth felt nervous. Was he going to be sacrificed?
Imhotep started walking around Ardeth. "You are most aware
that I'm a high priest. I have a special......treatment. Just for
you. It involves my greatest enemy. And that happens to be you".
"I'm not afraid, creature" Ardeth spat back. "Very
good" replied Imhotep "of all the potions used for various
spells, I have yet to try one that I desperately want to experience.
That's where you come in. It involves your life fluid". Ardeth
started to feel nervous. It sounds like Imhotep will mummify him
alive. Imhotep continued to circle around Ardeth before stopping
by Ardeth's feet. "You see, Medjai, the potion I need comes
from you". He placed his hand on Ardeth's boot. "It will
grant me immortality and it will give me the power to crush my enemies
under my foot. I would like to thank you, Ardeth, for making this
easy to me".
Ardeth felt ashamed.
This was all his fault. He gave into his primal urge to sleep when
he needed to be on alert. Imhotep placed his hands on Ardeth's boot
and started rubbing them. "What will you do with me?"
inquired Ardeth. "All in good time" replied Imhotep. Imhotep
took Ardeth's boot and slid them off his feet, exposing his bare
foot. Ardeth wiggled his toes a little out of nervousness, his bare
foot helpless by his greatest enemy. Imhotep bent down and sniffed
Ardeth's foot before looking back at Ardeth. "You've been wearing
these boots for quite some time. Perfect". Ardeth felt nervous.
Was the creature going to cut off his feet?
The creature then slipped off Ardeth's other boot. Both of Ardeth's
hairy feet were exposed to the creature. The creature bent down
and grabbed something, a device, from under the altar. It appeared
to be a gold box of some sort, covered in hieroglyphs and designs.
The creature opened up a side of the device and placed it by Ardeth's
feet. Ardeth didn't know what to do. The creature then placed the
device over Ardeth's feet so his feet were inside this box. The
creature then tightened up some knobs and it closed snuggly over
his feet. "Creature, you won't get away with this!" yelled
Ardeth. The creature didn't say anything. He pressed a button on
the side of the box and Ardeth felt a vibration from the box. Instantly,
he could feel it getting warm inside the device. Was this going
to cook his feet? And why only his feet? Ardeth wiggled his toes
inside the box. Not only was it getting really warm, but it felt
like it was getting steamy or humid.
He wiggled his toes a little. "Not so bad, is it?" asked
the creature. The creature then went next to the box and opened
a door on the other side. Ardeth felt the cool air hit his soles.
The creature bent down and sniffed inside. "Smells wonderful
in there" and then reached in again and licked Ardeth's sole
from heel to toe. Ardeth squirmed. "Does that taste good to
you?" asked Ardeth, half sarcastically, half genuinely curious.
"It tastes like Paradise" said Imhotep calmly. "A
Medjai's feet are special. Your feet are exceptional". The
creature then closed the door to the device and Ardeth could feel
it getting warm and humid inside again. "I will return for
you later" said the creature. "Don't go anywhere".
He then gave an evil chuckle and walked out of the room.
Ardeth looked around, looking for some way to free himself. He saw
his weapons by the wall, but they were well out of reach. There
was no way to contact help. "Well, this would have been a good
time to take a nap" thought Ardeth. Ardeth was furious at himself.
He was the leader of the Medjai and now he was captured by his greatest
enemy as his feet are being.....well, he didn't know what was happening.
He looked at the device. He couldn't see what was happening inside,
but it felt unusual to him. It was extremely warm and humid inside,
as if he were walking barefoot in a desert oasis. He could feel
sweat running down his feet. Why was the creature doing this to
him? And why his feet? So many questions left unanswered. Ardeth
felt sweat dripping off his foot. Suddenly, Ardeth realized something.
The creature talked about a potion that was made specifically from
a Medjai. He then realized that his foot sweat dripping off is the
potion. Ardeth realized he needed to escape, but his efforts against
the straps were useless.
Ardeth felt sick to his stomach. A potion made from his foot sweat?
How repulsive is that? His feet must stink like crazy. He had been
wearing his leather boots for the past 3 days. Ardeth felt ashamed
on so many levels. It's as if he set himself up for everything that
happened now. Ardeth laid back and closed his eyes, lost in his
thoughts. He could feel sweat trickling down his soles and dripping
off. Ardeth decided to sleep now. There was nothing he could do.
He was helpless and defenseless and help wouldn't arrive until the
next day.
He closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep. Ardeth started to dream
about walking along a beach. He had never been to one before but
always imagined what they looked like from descriptions. Ardeth
dreamed that he was walking along the beach as the water came up
to his bare feet. He could feel the water running between his toes.
Suddenly, he felt water being dripped on his face.
Ardeth woke with a start. Imhotep was standing over him dripping
some water on his face. "Glad to see you're awake". Ardeth
looked around. He could see down the tomb's hallway that it was
the early hours of the morning with light just starting to appear
over the horizon. "You've been asleep for some time" said
the creature "let's check and see how our treatment is doing".
He went to the device and opened up the door. Ardeth felt the cold
air hit his soles, cooling his feet. The creature took a sniff inside.
"Delicious" said the creature. He then closed the door
and took something out of the bottom. It was a clear container,
made of glass or crystal.
And inside, was a clear liquid. Ardeth knew what this was. It was
his foot sweat to be used for a ritual. The creature took the container
and took a small drink of it. Ardeth felt disgusted. The creature
looked at Ardeth and smiled. "Don't worry, its' not for you".
He placed another glass container underneath it. Ardeth's throat
felt parched. "Creature" he tried saying, but his voice
cracked. He coughed a little. "Thirsty?" asked Imhotep.
"Why would you care? You're going to kill me anyways"
snapped Ardeth after clearing his throat. "My little Medjai,
I'm not going to kill you. I intend to keep you alive for as long
as possible". Imhotep went across the room and took Ardeth's
drinking pouch. "I have not touched this until now. You have
my word it's safe. Go ahead and drink.". He placed it near
Ardeth's mouth and Ardeth drank some of the water the flowed from
it. "Not too much" said the creature.
"Now, when will your friend arrive?" asked Imhotep. "He
will be coming to my aid shortly. And then you will be finished"
said Ardeth. "I don't think that will happen". Suddenly,
they both heard the pounding hooves of a horse. "You are finished,
Creature" said Ardeth. The creature calmly went to the other
side of the room, grabbed a rag and forced it into Ardeth's mouth.
Ardeth tried to yell out, but his yells were muffled. Ardeth tried
to squirm but the straps held him tightly. "Medjai Ardeth,
are you there?" yelled a voice from outside. Ardeth tried to
scream, but his voice was muffled.
He heard the footsteps of his friend. "Ardeth!" yelled
his fellow Medjai. "What happened? Let me help you" The
Medjai tried to reach for the straps but once he did that, he heard
the sound of metal. He froze as he felt a sword on his neck. "Now
we have two Medjai" said the creature "back away from
the other one". The other Medjai did as he was told. "What
have you done with Ardeth?" asked the Medjai. "I've been
taking care of him". "Liar!" shouted the Medjai.
"you are our sworn enemy". The creature nodded. "Now,
I have a special surprised planned for you" calmly said the
creature. He brought out the clear container with Ardeth's foot
sweat. "Drink this". "I will never" said the
Medjai. Imhotep took out a dagger and placed it near Ardeth's throat.
"Drink this" said the creature. The Medjai had no choice.
It looked like water. He took the container, hesitated, and then
quickly drank it. He started to cough a little. "What is this,
sea water?" sputtered the Medjai. Ardeth felt like vomiting.
The creature smiled and then recited a spell in ancient Egyptian.
Ardeth tried to yell, but it was useless. Suddenly, the Medjai started
to shrink. Ardeth started to yell while the creature smiled. "What
have you done to me?!" yelled the Medjai as he continued to
shrink.
"Defeating my enemies" replied Imhotep. In just a matter
of moments, the Medjai had shrunk to the size of Scarab beetle.
He was yelling, but the voice was inaudible. Ardeth struggled in
vain against the straps. The creature removed one of his boots,
took the tiny Medjai and placed him inside the boot. The tiny Medjai
was yelling to no avail. The creature dropped him inside before
placing the boot on the ground. He sat down and slipped on his boot.
He slid on his boot slowly. "There we go. Your friend is under
the sole of my foot" said Imhotep. Ardeth glared at him. Then
suddenly, the creature suddenly stood up. He stood for a second
before a crunching sound was heard and his leg sunk down about an
inch into the boot. Ardeth screamed against the rag in his mouth.
The creature looked at Ardeth, smiled and calmly said "one
down". Ardeth passed out from the shock of his friend getting
crushed by the creature.
Ardeth started to dream again. His friend walking off to the horizon
as Ardeth calls out to him, but he never looks back. Just keeps
walking away before fading. Ardeth starts to chase after him, but
he feels something slimy on his feet. He looks down and discovers
he's standing in a field of worms in his bare feet. He tries to
keep walking, but feels the slimy worms sliding all over his feet
and between his toes. Ardeth suddenly feels himself getting hard.
He feels a nibble on his foot and wakes with a start. He sees that
he's still on the priest's altar, but the weird sensation of his
feet continues. He looks down and sees two figures down at his feet.
He then realizes they are licking his bare feet. "Who are you?"
Ardeth calls out. The creature comes out from the shadows.
"Don't disturb them" he calmly said. Ardeth started breathing
heavily with anger. "You killed my friend!" he yelled.
Suddenly, the licking stopped. The two figures stood up and Ardeth
saw that they were decomposed mummies. Ardeth cried out and tried
to struggle against the straps. "don't worry, they won't hurt
you" the creature said. "These are a couple of my devotees
from back in my time. Your Medjai ancestors had them mummified along
with me. When I came into this time several years ago, I raised
several of my devotees back from the past. These are two of the
surviving ones". The mummies bent down and started licking
Ardeth's feet again.
Ardeth moaned and squirmed. He could feel their hot breath and slimy
tongue on his bare feet. Lapping at his soles and going between
his hairy toes. "I apologize about your friend" said Imhotep.
He glanced down and Ardeth saw that he genuinely felt bad. "The
Medjai caused many problems for me in my time. My lover was killed,
my priests were mummified alive, and I was giving the worst punishment
of all. All at the hands of the Medjai. I wanted revenge and was
desperate for it. All I did I did for love. My revenge turned me
into a monster." Ardeth jolted a little bit as he felt a nibble
on his sole. Imhotep walked around the room. "I wanted revenge
on you, but then realize you had nothing to do with my past. We
are from two different times. In the time since I have been in this
era, I wanted nothing more than to see you suffer. But now seeing
you tied up in agony after the loss of your friend, I want nothing
more than the best for you" Ardeth felt strange. This was the
enemy he had known all his life.
But he was seeing another side of him. Was he telling the truth?
How could he know?
Ardeth smiled as he felt one of the mummies licking furiously between
his toes. Imhotep looked at Ardeth with a frown on his face. "Does
what I say amuse you?" he asked. Ardeth gathered himself together.
"No, I felt one of these mummies licking between my toes and
it felt funny to me". Imhotep smiled. "My priests enjoy
your feet. They taste excellent to them". "But why feet?"
asked Ardeth "do feet taste good to you?" The creature
nodded. "Your feet taste like a wonderful succulent meat. We
won't eat your feet, but we'll taste them. We enjoy them, and I
can see that you're enjoying it too". Imhotep looked down at
Ardeth's pants. Ardeth looked down and saw that he was aroused.
Ardeth felt ashamed. "Nothing to worry about, my Medjai".
He reached over and started massaging Ardeth's genitals.
Ardeth moaned at the sensation of his feet being licked and having
his genitals rubbed. Imhotep started untying Ardeth's pants. "What
are you doing?" asked Ardeth. "Nothing to worry about,
my little Medjai" said the creature. He then opened up Ardeth's
pants, exposing his aroused manhood. He started stroking it, making
Ardeth even more aroused. Ardeth was loving every bit of this. He
could feel the mummies lapping at his bare soles while his manhood
was being touched and explored. The priest then bent down and wrapped
his mouth around Ardeth's manhood. Ardeth moaned as the priest started
sucking. Ardeth started to thrust into the priest’s mouth
as the priest was swallowing his manhood. Ardeth felt his toes curl
as the mummies licked between his toes. He then shuddered and then
filled Imhotep's mouth with his hot seed.
Imhotep kept sucking, draining his manhood. Ardeth breathed in and
out really fast. His face and chest were sweating, but Imhotep still
had his mouth around Ardeth's manhood, still sucking. As Ardeth
calmed down and his manhood limped, Imhotep stood up and wiped his
chin. He looked at Ardeth and smiled. "Thank you" he said
softly. The mummies were still licking Ardeth's feet. The priest
started rubbing Ardeth's chest and stroking his hair. The priest
looked at Ardeth and uttered something that took him completely
by surprise. "I love you". Ardeth looked at him, confused.
"I loved Anck Su Namun in my time, but this is a new era for
me. I want to start new. I want to start a new life with you".
Ardeth looked perplexed, not sure what to say. "Well, I must
say I enjoyed what just happened. I've never had anything like that
done before". Imhotep smiled. "I can do that for you whenever
you like. I will give up my old past if you are willing to start
a new future with me". Ardeth laid back and thought for a moment.
"But my Medjai tribe, what about them?" asked Ardeth.
"Don't worry about them. They will find themselves a new leader.
But it wouldn't matter. The Medjai want to vanquish me, but the
truth is, I would be willing to leave this all behind. We could
disappear together". Ardeth thought some more. "But they
will come looking for me and the other Medjai". Imhotep thought
for a moment. "And they won't find either of you, or me. My
tomb will be sealed, never to be disturbed again, and they would
think you were lost in the desert". Ardeth thought this was
reasonable. He jolted again as he felt another nibble on his toe.
"You enjoy having your feet worshiped. With me, they will be
worshiped for the rest of your life. All day, every day". Ardeth
closed his eyes and then nodded. "Yes, I will go with you".
Imhotep untied Ardeth's straps.
Ardeth got up. His back felt sore from lying on the altar. The mummies
kept licking Ardeth's feet. Imhotep took a clear container filled
with Ardeth's foot sweat. He said something to the mummies in ancient
Egyptian and they stopped. He said some more stuff and gave the
two containers to each of the mummies. He said something to them
again and they drank it. Imhotep said his enchantment and the mummies
started to shrink. But this was different for them. They started
to flatten out. In a matter of moments, they were a flat oval with
a face on top, as if they melted into a puddle. Ardeth looked at
Imhotep in curiosity. Imhotep took each of these puddle faces and
put each one into Ardeth's boots.
He then took the boots and slipped one onto Ardeth's right foot,
and then the other on his left foot.
Ardeth wiggled his toes. Suddenly, he felt something pressing against
his soles. Ardeth looked at Imhotep with a raised eyebrow. "Say
the word 'lick' when you want them to, say 'stop' when you don't"
he explained. Ardeth then looked at his boots and said "Lick"
and immediately felt tongues massaging his soles. Ardeth moaned
at the sensation as Imhotep smiled. "Ardeth, wherever you go,
your feet will be worshiped" said Imhotep. He then kissed Ardeth's
cheek. "And I will be yours" he said into his ear. Imhotep
walked over to Ardeth's weapons and supplies and handed them to
Ardeth. "We won't need these much longer". Ardeth started
walking across the floor.
He could feel his soles being licked with every step he took. Every
now and then, he would feel a tongue go between his toes. Ardeth
and Imhotep walked out into the morning sun together. "What's
the plan?" asked Ardeth. Imhotep looked at Ardeth. "I'm
not in charge, you are. I go wherever you go. What's more, I am
no longer known as Imhotep. In this new world, I will go by a new
name; Nizam". Ardeth nodded. They saw the other Medjai's horse
still tied nearby.
They mounted the horse with their gear. With Ardeth's legs straddling
the horse, he could feel the tops of his feet being licked now.
Ardeth gave a quiet moan. Imhotep, now known as Nizam mounted the
horse behind Ardeth. He stroked Ardeth's hair. "So, my Medjai,
where do you want to take us?” Ardeth looked back and said
to him "wherever the wind blows. We'll start a new life out
of this country and land. Someplace new." Nizam held onto Ardeth.
"Together" he said. Ardeth felt something inside his boots.
He could have sworn he felt two kisses to his feet. Ardeth smiled
and said 'lick' and right away left his soles being massaged by
a pair of tongues. Ardeth looked back to Nizam. 'Together' he said
back to Nizam. The horse started riding and Ardeth and Nizam rode
off away from this life and went to start a new one. To the Medjai
tribe and O’Connell’s, that was the end of Ardeth and
his story.
But to Ardeth and Nizam, it had only just begun.
