On first thought a meeting of the "12" seemed to be the quickest way to find a lid to cap the visibility of our perks, but on second thought I realized that I had no real idea of what behavior needed to be capped.
As I pondered my exec team, I realized how little I knew about their relationship with their support staff and even less about how their minds had changed since their arm muscle won them the right to stand on their opponents face.
I vividly remember the rush I felt as I looked down on poor Bob's face as I stood on him as his struggle subsided and resignation set in that he was my doormat until the next competition offered the possibility that our positions would be reversed. I also remembered how quickly I became bored by just placing one 11 sized foot on his face and the other on his chest; and how it was so easy to shift my weight from his chest to his face. As the last question was asked I jumped up, I heard the whoosh as my weight forced the air rush from his chest and realized this might be my last chance for a full weight both feet stand, and I took advantage of it.
With these images of my own behavior fresh in my mind I would be naive to think that the other 11 were still satisfied simply by the superior positioning of our office furniture. Strange how I really think of Gunnar as furniture, he tries so hard to be more and do more to keep it interesting for me. Since I don't hide how many other support staffers vie for my attention and favor; his high motivation to please is enjoyable. But Gunnar was the least of my concern, he was as comfortable as an old shoe, my favorite chair, the doormat to be used and besides he is as faithful as a dog. If I had a problem my gut told me it involved Graham Baxter.
When Mike O'Neill suggested exchanging "supports" during our regular Friday meetings as a way to add some variety and to allow some rougher man-to-man treatment, it was Graham who introduced the first bit of paraphernalia, his stool. Graham's position as Marketing VP suited his personality to a T. Winning the sale was everything to him and he would do anything to bring home a signed contract. At 36, he still had the body he developed in collage playing Lacrosse and wrestling. His 6 foot frame carried his 210 pounds well. The only thing that seemed small about him was his feet. At times he almost seemed embarrassed that he didn't have the thirteen's that would better match the rest of his body. Maybe that was one reason for how he used those feet.
I remember wondering what Graham was doing one Friday as he measured the face of each supporter. As it turned out, his size 8's were about the same length as Bart's face from chin to forehead. Two size 8's placed on Bart's face completely covered his face with no toes left unsupported. Very comfortable for Graham, as he often stood on Bart's face for what seemed far too long for any man to hold his breath. But Bart rose to the challenge every time.
The stool appeared every Friday. Placing it over the midsection of a support allowed Graham to position his right foot on the supports Adams apple with the toes and ball placed over the mouth and nose. When he crossed his left foot over the right at the ankle the pressure increased to the point where autoerotic asphyxia was practiced before the group. Graham did not hide his control or how much he enjoyed the control. He never went too far and he was sensitive to the support staff. Early on he tested each support staff to his erotic preferences noting which ones were natural gaspers. Bart seemed to be his favorite, but others also played along partly because Graham was the first to take his support with him on business trips; especially trips which included wining, dining and entertaining rich customers who demanded unique experiences as well as fine wine, food and women.
I made an appointment with Graham. We'd meet for lunch at his all-male athletic, golf club.
